The Ege University English Exam is a placement test designed to determine if students can bypass the Preparatory Class Programme. It consists of two sections: Use of English and Reading Comprehension, both utilizing multiple-choice questions. To pass and move directly into first-year courses, students must earn a minimum score of 70 points.
