If some test-takers are unable to access their exam on TestInvite, it may be due to internet restrictions that prevent them from accessing the platform. In such cases, specific URLs must be whitelisted to ensure a smooth exam experience without any interruptions.

What URLs do I need to whitelist for test-takers to access online exams in TestInvite smoothly?

If there are no restrictions on internet access, there’s nothing you need to do. However, if certain URLs or resources are blocked in the network being used (e.g., in corporate or school networks), then specific URLs must be whitelisted to ensure uninterrupted access to the exam platform. Blocking these URLs could result in issues such as inability to load exams, submit answers, or access media content within the exam.

Additionally, TestInvite allows test takers and administrators to add media files (such as images, videos, and audio) using external URLs. For these media files to display correctly, the domains hosting them must be accessible. We recommend hosting all assessment content directly on TestInvite servers and not using external URLs when adding media resources to exams to avoid potential access issues.
