Eraslan College: Seamless Transition to Online Exams with TestInvite

What were their objectives?

Eraslan College, situated in İzmir, Turkey, stands as a prominent educational institution with 25 years of expertise across different levels of education. Offering a high-quality education from kindergarten to high school, Eraslan places significant importance on maintaining educational excellence. To identify the most talented students at each level, the college conducts semester, entrance and scholarship examinations.

In response to the Covid-19 crisis, Eraslan College transitioned from traditional face-to-face courses to online education. Leveraging their modern approach and educational experience, the institution swiftly adapted to online learning. Recognizing the need for strategic collaboration in online student assessment, Eraslan partnered with TestInvite to introduce a secure and user-friendly assessment environment for both students and teachers.

How did they achieve their goals with TestInvite?

During the Covid-19 situation, Eraslan College faced critical challenges related to online exam security for periodic exams. Additionally, detailed exam reports were crucial for a fair assessment of students' learning outcomes. TestInvite's Assessment Software proved instrumental in addressing these challenges.

At the onset of the collaboration, Eraslan College utilized TestInvite Assessment Software for periodic exams throughout the 2020/2021 academic year. Approximately 500 students, spanning from fifth grade to tenth grade, participated in online exams over nine months. Building on this success, the college extended their collaboration with TestInvite to conduct entrance exams, with approximately 400 students applying for scholarships.

Onboarding & orientation of teachers and students:

Scholarship & Entrance Exams:

Building on the success of semester exams, Eraslan College integrated TestInvite exam security features for scholarship and entrance exams. Teachers implemented the following measures:

• Activated webcam video recording to deter exam cheating.
• Automatically shuffled questions for each student.

Outcomes and successes achieved?

The collaborative efforts resulted in the successful management of 4,000+ online exams, with 500 students participating in various exams over nine months, and an additional 350 students taking the Entrance exam in February 2021.
